What should I expect from the self-paced course experience?Adam Swift2019-08-28T14:53:01-04:00
Each online course in the program is offered through the Learning Management System (LMS) Canvas, which incorporates an easy-to-use interface, simple navigation, and allows for consistent interaction between you and your instructor. Coursework is completed asynchronously (at your own pace) within 45 calendar days in a 1:1 (one instructor/one participant) environment. Assignments are submitted at the end of each module, are scored against a rubric, and are returned to you with customized feedback designed to improve your professional practice. Your instructor is available to you for any questions or concerns throughout your course experience.
What is the peer feedback forum?Adam Swift2019-08-28T14:52:14-04:00
Just because you are taking a self-paced class online, doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice collaboration. Your course experience includes an opportunity to interface with other participants who have responded to central themes related to the course outcomes. The list of Assignments includes a Peer Feedback Forum. This forum asks a question related to the course content and your professional experience. Once you respond to the question, you will be able to review how others have responded; score their content, critical thinking, and connections to professional practice on a rubric; and offer feedback.
